Alongside creating her own projects, Carlota works as a freelance facilitator with various companies and organisations. She has led workshops and weekly sessions for all ages and abilities, from primary school students to older people, including those with specific additional needs. She is particularly interested in working with groups who do not currently have access to theatre and the Arts or who experience barriers.
Carlota is dedicated to creating opportunities for people to learn creative facilitation skills, how to run their own workshops/activities and integrate creativity into their lives or job roles. She has worked with school teachers, migrant support workers, and recently developed a Creative Leadership training programme for migrant women, funded by Arts Council England.
Previous workshops include: Firebird Theatre, Lightbox Theatre, Social Skills Agency, Travelling Light Theatre Company, Milestones Trust, Bristol Academy of Drama, Prime Theatre, The Big Act, Myers-Insole Local Learning, Many Minds, Bristol Old Vic, primary and secondary schools.
Carlota is very gentle and understanding - feel very held and listened to within the space. She is able to hold the space with a very calm authority, and engaging presence and so much creativity.

I loved the women's theatre group because it felt safe to explore theatrical dynamics and creative ways to interact with ourselves and others.
